As usual Light Academy held its annual dinner party for senior four candidates of 2014. In the early afternoon the ‘O’ level candidates gathered at the basketball court on the 9th October 2014 as their venue.
After the arrival of the Headmaster as chief guest accompanied by the deputy headmaster, a short prayer was conducted to bless the function. Soon after the national anthems were sang and this was followed by the speeches.
These speeches from student representatives, class teachers, director of studies and finally the headmaster were given. These were to wish best of luck to the candidates.
The function later included the cutting of the cake in which most of the candidates participated.
Finally was the grand dinner where there was overall feasting.
This function was to provide a grand meal, blessing, advice and best of luck to the school candidates in their forthcoming National Uganda Certificate of Education Examinations 2014.
