It was fun on sports day at Light Academy Secondary School Campus on Sunday 23rd July, 2017 as students exposed their talents in various categories in the inter-House competitions i.e. Sports, Dance and Drama among others, while they entertained parents and everyone around was mesmerized.
The main participants were categorized in their Houses namely; America house, Asia house, Africa house and Europe house whereby Europe emerged as the overall winner and the house was prized with a Bull and Trophy.
The Headmaster Mr. Ercan Tapsiz welcomed all parents and all the invited guests and thanked them for responding positively. In his speech he emphasized that sports are very necessary for everyone especially children and youths as it stimulates the physical and mental growth and also improves our health and fitness removing the mental exhaustion and it develops one’s confidence.
