It was Friday 31st when the police assistant IGP Asuman Mugenyi showed in to talk to students. The civil servant having served the police beyond 27 years showed no flaws and explained his experience as a policeman. Besides, being a parent here to Abassi Mugenyi was not hard to persuade him to talk to the youth of Light Academy. He showed the history of police right from evolution, which surprisingly, was impressive.
For the jaws of unemployment out there, he assured the students the opportunities in police, as long as they worked hard to university completion. He further explained the duties in police, discipline, rules and all the needed above.
It was nice listening to the experienced police assistant. Looking forward to the next parent speaker; information and knowledge is power.
