
On the 25th of February 2017, the school hosted a professional firefighting trainer from the Uganda Police Department to provide awareness skills to students and the entire school community on the dangers of fire out break and how to overcome them.
This took place in the afternoon at 3:00pm where the entire school converged at the basketball court and demonstrations started. The professional displayed how fire can break out stating out all sources and causes of fire outbreaks in various places. By the use of fuels and fire extinguishers he demonstrated on how to stop fire and also gave a chance to students to try to extinguish it. Students acquired skills and some were given a chance to practically demonstrate the use of fire extinguishers to their fellow students under the guidance of the fire fighter personnel.
Finally this is how the school is equipping and enabling students be ready for any change in any community both in and out of the school besides the academic world.
