Light Academy Secondary School held a solemn and inspiring Dedication Service for the Senior Six candidates as they prepare to sit for the UNEB examinations. The event took place in the school main hall and brought together students, teachers, school administrators, and invited guests who joined in prayer and encouragement for the candidates.
The dedication service was presided over by both a Christian bishop and a Muslim sheikh, reflecting the school’s commitment to spiritual inclusion and respect for all faiths. Each leader offered prayers, blessings, and words of wisdom to guide the students through their upcoming examinations and beyond.
During the service, the bishop encouraged candidates to remain confident, disciplined, and focused, reminding them that with hard work, faith, and resilience, they can achieve their academic goals. The sheikh echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing integrity, commitment, and the importance of seeking knowledge as a lifelong pursuit.
The school administration also took the opportunity to appreciate the efforts of the teaching staff and parents who have supported the students throughout their academic journey. Students were reminded to stay calm, manage their time wisely, and put into practice all they have learned over the years.
The dedication service concluded with a unified prayer and blessing for success in the UNEB examinations. Light Academy Secondary School remains confident that the Class of 2025 will excel and continue the school’s legacy of strong academic performance and character values.
We wish all our S.6 candidates the very best in their UNEB examinations.
