Academic & Enrichment Activities
These activities were designed to complement classroom learning and develop students’ intellectual capabilities beyond the standard curriculum
Weekly Debates: Held internal debates every Wednesday after classes to hone public speaking and critical thinking skills.
Quiz Competitions: Excelled in academic quizzes, notably winning 1st place on a National television quiz competition.
Geography Study Tour: Conducted an intensive 4-day educational trip to Western Uganda in December for hands-on geographical and cultural learning.
Seminars: Students attended both internal and external seminars covering a wide range of subjects to gain deeper insights and expert knowledge.
Swimming Program: Offered regular swimming instructions and held competitions throughout the entire academic year.
Sports Activities
The sports program was extensive, running across all three terms and focusing on both inter-house camaraderie and competitive inter-school tournaments.
First Term
Football: Competed in the Zonal football competition and advanced to the District level.
Rugby: Participated in the District rugby tournament, reaching the quarter-finals.
Inter-House Games: Held competitions within the school across multiple sports: football, rugby, basketball, volleyball, and table tennis.
Second Term
Inter-House Games: The intra-school competitions continued.
Sports Day: A dedicated event focused on track and field events.
Rugby: Continued friendly or competitive rugby matches against other schools within the Wakiso district.
Third Term
Inter-Class Tournaments: Held football and rugby tournaments between different school classes.
Football, Basketball , Chess & Rugby tournaments
Trips & Excursions
The school organized events focused on community, relaxation, and international exposure.
International Parent Trip: Organized an annual trip to Turkey for parents during the August-September period.
Student Picnics: Held regular, class-by-class picnic outings for students every weekend, providing a casual and fun break from the academic routine.
