S.3 Geography Trip to Murchison Falls

Senior Three students of Light Academy Secondary School took part in an exciting Geography field trip to Murchison Falls National Park. The learners explored key physical geography features, including river processes, erosion, and the powerful Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge.

The trip also included a guided game drive, giving students a chance to observe wildlife and learn about ecosystems, biodiversity, and conservation efforts. This hands-on experience helped learners connect classroom knowledge with real-world environments, making Geography more practical and engaging.
